This week's readings talked about RSS feeds and simplifying news consumption. Prior to this, I had no idea what RSS was. I had seen the logo before on different websites and just now made the connection. I learned that RSS brings together a summarized feed of relevant content instead of the user having to scroll through different articles and spend extra time looking at content that they may not like. The readings helped explain how simple it was to access RSS, and it is something I will likely implement into my own news feed to help shrink the time it would normally take to search for content. Additionally, I wasn't aware that Reddit and its subreddits met the qualifications of RSS. I use Reddit almost on a daily basis, so it was nice to see the content relating to something that I understand and know how to navigate.
